We are full time professional management consultants who provide assistance to employers regarding every facet of employee-employer relationships. We are experts and technicians in workplace laws – we know and have enforced their statutory requirements for employers and their protections and entitlements for employees.

Workplaces are more litigious than ever, government enforcement is more aggressive than ever and employees have access to federal and state workplace laws and regulations by the click of a mouse. Employers must have advice from experts who have lived, applied and enforced workplace laws.

  • Former investigators and supervisors with the U. S. Department of Labor, Wage & Hour Division

  • Two former county HR directors
  • Career HR executive from rehabilitation industry
  • HR professionals who served public agencies
  • Industrial project engineer with Section 14( c) commensurate wage experience

We have over 100 years’ combined experience as investigators, enforcement officers, attorney and HR professionals. As consultants we now have over 150 years’ combined experience assisting the broadest range of employers. We serve over 400 clients in 38 states. We seek long term client relationships. Our client retention rate is 95 percent.

Today’s workplace compliance environment combined with the laws’ technicalities make employer’s compliance efforts an every day challenge. MKAI subscribes to leading law library services and national organizations to daily keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, federal and state agency enforcement activities and HR advancements.
